Specifically, it is EIDE’s DBQ unlockable centrifugal brake, new for 2019, which, due to its operating characteristics without external power supply and its quick and easy disablement at will, has been selected among the four finalists for this category out of hundreds of entries.
EIDE, as a company that designs, manufactures and markets brakes for industrial machinery in sectors such as construction, building cleaning and renewable energy, with more than 65 years of experience in improving the safety, efficiency and durability of industrial equipment, highly values this nomination especially in this category, and would like to thank those who have made it possible, all the people who are part of our products and projects.
This year’s International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) summit will be held on April 23rd in London. This organisation is an alliance of manufacturers and users that promotes the safe use of machinery for working at heights.
This meeting, apart from being the reference point for the working at heights sector in Europe, is the perfect occasion to celebrate the international IAPA awards ceremony in its different categories.
EIDE is again, as in 2017, nominated to these awards, along with three other companies, in the category of Contribution to Safe Work at Height.
